I wouldn't give dairy products at this age. Dairy is hard to digest, so it's better to wait until their digestive system is more mature. You can ask your pedi when to introduce it to LO. I think DD1 was 10 mos when we did. That's when we found out she's allergic to dairy (she got hives). When you do introduce it, you want to get plain whole fat yogurt. Then you can add fruit to it if you want. The ones with fruit already in it have added sugar and the baby yogurt is a rip off.

I was under the impression also that babies should not have dairy until a year. I saw some previous posts about chobani yogurt so I looked at it yesterday at Walmart. It says for 6 months and up. It also says made with whole milk. I will ask my pedi at our next checkup but I really doubt she will give me the go ahead. Thx

they will tell you when you go for your 6 month wel visit. like pp you need to becareful because their little tummies are not ready for it.
