Birthday traditions?

My girls will be 1 in three weeks, so hard to believe! I am just wondering if you do anything special every year? : )

    Not really but I did get plates from chasing fireflies that have a little cupcake picture, their name & their bday and they eat their cake off of them each year & I try to get a photo of them w/ their plates.

    One thing I thought might be fun starting this year would be to write a letter to themselves talking about what they're like at that age- what they like to do, what's their favorite this or that, etc....

    Not twin specific, but I take a picture each year of each of my kids sitting in a toddler sized chair that belonged to my dad when he was little. My oldest kid is now six and I'm not so sure he will be able to fit in the chair for his next birthday.
