When was your first OB aptmt after working with RE?

When did your OB see you for your first visit including a US?


I'm scheduled to have my first US with RE around 6wks1day--July 10th. My OB isn't seeing me until July 31st at around 9wks1day. Does this seem late?

    I saw the RE twice for ultrasounds after confirmation of doubling betas.  Then I saw the OB at 10 weeks for NT Scan (that was the first time I saw her)


    DD (8/12/09), DD (2/8/11)
    BFP 12/16/14| EDD 8/19/15 |MMC 1/15/15 (9 weeks 1 day)

    This. I think I may have been closer to 11 weeks the first time I saw my OB. 

    DX: DOR and MFI 

     

    IVF w/ICSI brought us our 1st precious miracle

    V born via induction 4.29.11

    TTC #2: IVF (MDLF) August/September 2012

    ER 9/7: 6R, 5M, 4F ET 9/12: 5dt of 2 blasts 

    +HPT 9/17! Beta #1 (9/25) = 1,000 Beta #2 (9/27) = 1,860 U/S #1 (10/11)...TWINS!

    1/8/13 - It's a..boy and a girl!!   

     

    S&B born via induction 5.8.13

    I saw my RE pretty much every week or two until my NT scan at 12 weeks.  Then we switched over to the OB.

    After my RE confirmed the heartbeat at about 7 weeks he told me to schedule an appt with my OB.  My first appt with OB was when I was just about 10 weeks and she did an ultrasound to determine due date.  She then saw me again the following week and did another ultrasound to check the heartbeat.
    2nd ectopic resulted in loss of tube. HSG revealed remaining tube is "severely torqued".
    IVF #1: ER 03/29/10; ET 04/01/10: transferred 2 embies; Beta #1 (9dp3dt)- 45; Beta #2 (11dp3dt)- 91= BFP
    FET#1: ET 04/18/12: transferred 4 embies; Beta #1: >2 = BFN
    IVF #2: ER 06/20/12; ET 6/25/12: transferred 2 embies; Beta #1 on 7/5/12= BFN
    8/16: hysteroscopy for polyp removal
    11/11: hysteroscopy #2 for yet another polyp removal
    FET#2: ET 12/15/12: transferred 3 embies; Beta #1 (9dp5dt): 12/24/12: 426; Beta #2 (11dp5dt): 845= BFP
    u/s 1/9= triplets!; miscarried all three on 1/10/13...

    That sounds just about right to me. My RE released me around 8.5 weeks, and my OB/GYN saw me around 9.5.

    P.S. I had an u/s at my first OB/GYN appt. I won't get another one until 20 weeks.

    I saw my OB for my first visit at 6 weeks which was when I was released from the RE.  Sounds like every place is different.

    10 weeks...that is the standard for my OB practice whether you are with an RE or not.  I think they might do a blood test early on for non IF people but week 8-10 is usually the first appt.   I continued to see my RE through 1st tri.

    2 years, 2 surgeries, 2 clomid fails, 2 IUIs, 1 loss, IVF #1 - 10/25/10 = BFP!, DS is now 3.5yrs!
    TTC #2 - 6/12 surgery #3, FET #1 & 1.2 = BFN, 12/2012 FET #2 = BFP! DD is 1.5 yrs!
    Surprise! 12/16/14 BFP, loss #2 12/31/14

    I can't wait for the "im getting a divorce" post in 5 years or so because your husbands were fed up with your disgusting chair asses from playing on the knot all day and getting fired 4-5 times for not doing any work. you guys are all winners!! ~ Laur929

    I had u/s with the RE at 6 wks and 8 wks. My first OB appt was 9 wks.

    That sounds about right to me. I want to say I saw my OB between 9-10 wks.

    I saw my RE until 8 weeks (I think it was an ultrasound at 6weeks and then one at 8weeks) then I was released to OB.  I saw him around 9 weeks or so....?normal? people don?t see the OB until around 8 to 9 weeks so I think you are seeing the OB at the right time.  Why don?t you just ask your RE if you can come back ONE more time in between to make sure everything is still good and so it can ease your mind?

    I stayed with my RE until 11 weeks. I Saw my OB at 13 weeks for my NT scan, physical, etc.
