Vacuuming after c/s

When did you start vacuuming?  I am 6 wks post c/s tomorrow and I have my appt on Thursday so I will ask then.  I was just curious.  I have not done anything but the hand vac yet.

My /Chart; BFP 3/8/11 CP 3/16/11; 7/11 HSG & S/A both clear;
Cycle 12~ 50 mg Clomid=BFP 9/9/11, Beta #1=280 & Beta #2=1513, 6w3d hb=122 bpm/ 8w2d hb=186 bpm/12w2d could not hear hb had a 3rd u/s and got to see the hb. 16w2d heard the hb! 156 bpm. A/S 1/3=girl

    I would say at this point when you feel up to it.  As long as you are not carrying it up stairs or over excerting yourself to much you should be fine.

    I did it a few weeks out.  I probably shouldn't have but I really wanted to...Haha.  I made sure to do it slow.  I didn't have any pain and I just did one room.

    I did at 3 weeks - no issues.  Listen to your body use common sense.  Our vacuum is pretty light but I wouldnt use a super heavy one and wouldnt lug it up the stairs.

    Thanks ladies I will do the thinner carpeting to start and see how it goes.  I may not tell DH just to see if he does it.  Haha.  I am feeling much better this week so I am sure it will be fine.

    Within 2-3 weeks. There wasn't much I didn't do. Just gauge how you're feeling and go from there.

    Are you kidding?  There are very few times in life when someone is willing to help you as much as right after a baby.  Make DH do the vacuuming for as long as he's willing to!!

    The first time was about 2 wks PP but please don't go by me.  I was that crazy person in Wal-Mart the Saturday after having a baby on Monday...yep I'm a nut.
