Where to buy DDs mattress?

I'm looking for either a twin or full mattress for my little girls new room. I've looked at a few mattress places and also costco. Has anyone bought from Ikea? I havent bought a mattress is so long and forgot how dang expensive they are!

    Ugh, I hate mattress shopping. We went a few months ago to buy a full for DD's big girl bed. We ended up buying from a local chain, but looked at 3 or 4 different places first. Our bed and mattress are from Ikea, but it's not the typical spring mattress. I don't remember what the name is, but we like it. I think they allow exchanges, so if you don't end up liking the mattress you can try a different model.

    Macy's is having there mattress closeout event... DH and I bought our mattress that way a few years ago, and bought DD's there as well. They are great names and models for a lot less, and they have a good warranty. Not sure if they have the same thing going on... but you pay $69 for a waterproof mattress pad, they replace it as many times as needed for up to 10 years and will replace your mattress if it gets ripped or stained.

    IKEA mattresses I've heard are the same as furniture... you get what you pay for.
