Fingers crossed.. third time is the charm

Just spoke to my stepdaughter in Australia, some of you may remember she was pregnant at the same time as me and lost the baby, then she got pregnant again not long after our son was born..and lost the baby again

Well after finally deciding to stop trying and give them some time... she accidentally got pregnant again... LOL ... fingers crossed that third time is the charm

..I may be a grandma when my son turns one year old... her EDD March 2nd and his birthday is March 16th.

yeah me too .. she was so excited when she thought we'd be pregnant together ..so it was rough for both of us,.. but she handled it like a real trooper and the second time she already knew things weren't right before it happened.. gotta love that old woman's instinct. So when it happened she wasn't as shocked as the first time. But she knows it will happen when its the right time since we also had an early loss before we got this little munchkin.

I don't think anything could be harder than the first time.. she'd been spoting but we were both so sure all would be ok, and she found out there was no heartbeat at their first U/S at 16 weeks ..so there was the excitement of seeing the baby for the first time and then the realisation it wasn't viable...and then that awful decision of natural or DNC.

I'm optimistic... I think this time ..is the time for them. Cool
