Late with both my babies. Day 5/6 with DS and day 4/5 with DD. This resulted in a 9 percent weight loss for both of them. It is nerve wracking but hang in there. Babies stomachs are the size of a marble when they are born so it doesn't take much to fill them up. Good Luck.
about 60 hours after birth. ds was born at 7:30am on a tuesday and by thursday evening it was in. the sides of my breasts felt a little sore that morning and by that evening my breasts were huge, painful, and leaking. hang in there! it'll happen!
by day 10 I gave up. We had been supplementing with formula since about day 3, because she was always hungry and crying and when I'd express I didn't get anything. I think it is the meds I take that kept my supply from ever starting, sadly.
Day 6, but I had a c-section. He lost 12% of his birthweight but he's a pro ever since my milk came in. At his 2 week dr. appt this week he gained 1 lb in one week!
I'm actually not 100% sure! I never had engorgement, so I think my milk came in slowly over time. It seemed to be fully in around Day 6 or 7. Our pede had us supplement with formula during the wait since his birthweight dropped by 11 oz.
Re: when did your milk come in
