I have a c/s scheduled for Friday morning, and I am considering either having DH shave me with his electric razor tonight or using some Nair in shower stuff just to avoid them having to groom me in the hospital. Would this be a bad idea?

They'll still shave the area before surgery, but it won't hurt anything to do it at home.
Shave low!
You can but they will probably do it anyways. They like to make sure they do it there so the risk of infection is lower.
Happy grooming
This was me too. I had 18 hours of labor before deciding to do a c/s. The nurse came at me with a razor then put the razor down and said "aren't you prepared for anything!". I laughed too...
