Miss my baby

Well, I did drop off this morning.  It was a disaster as my MIL had the car seat in all wrong, and it took us 45 mins in 95 degree heat to get it figured out (and frankly, the straps were too snug for A). (I kept A in my car with the AC blowing full blast.) But they made it home, and she's going to have someone out to help her fix it tonight.

Then I went to see my mom.  She asked me basic info about the trip, like flight times. She was quiet, and all of a sudden, out of nowhere, she starts crying.  I asked 5 times, what's wrong, and she says very, very quietly "I don't want you to go.  Please don't go."

Ugh.

We're going.

    A combination of a bunch of things. She hates when we travel. And she thinks Antigua is super scary. And she wants me to visit her everyday.  And she's convinced we're going to drown, or, get this one, be kidnapped by the skipper of the yacht we are going out on one day.  Oh, and pirates.  Don't forget the pirates.

    I'm sorry. Ive always found my mom and mil to be less helpful than I always hope. Try to have fun and know that everyone will be safe and happy while you are away!
