I think something like only 20 percent of women experience implantation bleeding.

I had implantation spotting on a Sunday and then didn't get my period. I was also sooooo tired and took the test on that next Tuesday and it came back positive! When I showed my husband he didn't believe it because I tested on Sunday (before the spotting) and it came back negative! It was cute... He kept on asking if I was sure!

I know, hence the "humor me" ;-) My question is for that 20%.

I didn't have it with my other kid. This could just be a short cycle. I had scant pink spotting yesterday and my period isn't due until Monday. I usually only spot the day before it starts and (TMI) it is heavier and bloodier and increases in volume and grossness.

1st pregnancy - no implantation bleeding

2nd pregnancy - I spotted the day before my BFP

3rd pregnancy - I spotted 4 (or 3 don't remember) days before my BFP

I did not have any implantation spotting even with twins

Anything longer than 7-8 days past was probably O/post-O spotting and not implantation.

Lurking from third tri...

I had implantation spotting on a Friday and figured it was my normal pre-period spotting. When Tuesday came around and I still didn't have a full period, I POAS and there was my BFP.

I had spotting on a Sunday - 3 days after my period started - so I thought it was just my period. Then Monday I got freaked out because it stopped. I POAS that night and showed my husband and said "it's a faint blue line, and a crappy home test, I don't think I'm pregnant" (of course I actually joked, "I'm only slightly pregnant") I had my 'preconception' appointment for that Thursday and after telling the nurse what happened, she got freaked out, had me pee in a cup (PIAC?) and wouldn't you know it, it was positive. My doc said it was probably the implantation spotting.

So for your question - I spotted on Sunday and POAS Monday - one day. And what does BFP mean? I'm not sure if I'm answering correctly!

I voted 1 day later because I did have spotting at 12DPO and got a BFP at 13DPO. Having said that, I don't know if it was caused by implantation & I've had off and on spotting since then that I also don't know was caused by implantation.

I didn't have any spotting but I am 99% my implantation happened on a Tuesday because I had some sharp cramps. I got my first visible positive the following Sunday.
