1st Trimester

When preg, if u have a cyst, how does it feel? Or just Baby#2

I get crampy late in the day. I try to up my water when it happens but I'm wondering about a cyst during pregnancy as I know they are very common especially if you have more than 1 follicle. I had 2 mature and 1 not far behind, I really think I ovulated 2 of them but I might be wrong.

Just now I felt a blinky type of feeling. Like my lower area was tapping me or blinking. And in the afternoon I'm so bloated but almost feel like I have a water baloon in my uterus as it seems like there's something in there. I'm not in pain but it's a heavy feeling. I wake up in the morning really needing to pee and am so bloated. Maybe it's just different with pregnancy #2 but I wanted to ask all you ladies.

My only other thought, other than maybe it's just like this after pregnancy #1, is maybe I'm pregnant with 2 since I had two follicles. :)  (gasp!)  :)  I guess we'll find out on July 10th.

Thanks!

Kitty

  • The tech told me I had a cyst at my 8 week u/s.  I never would have known...no symptoms.  Good luck to you!

  • well i had a softball size cyst about year and a half ago. (wasnt pregnant at the time). I am a small gal so dr was suprised it got that big without being found. my symptoms were not pain or hurt, but more of discomfort. definitely peeing more. when i layed down on my back and felt my belly it was like the firmness of a full water balloon. for longest time i just assumed i had a little pouch going since gettig married and all. but if you have a smaller cyst you probably wont even know its there. It can be picked up on your u/s for sure.

  • I have a CL cyst on the left ovary right now.  For the first few weeks of pregnancy I just felt a dull ache on my left side sort of ongoing.  If I would sneeze or cough while lying on my back it would hurt pretty bad.  Now that I am 9 weeks I don't feel it as often.  Just occasionally I notice an ache there.  I guess you could describe it as a sort of "blinky" throbbing feeling.  It really doesn't hurt, I just find it annoying.  I believe they usually reabsorb into the body in the 2nd tri.
  • Sounds like gas or just bloat.

  • I've had cysts from clomid, and I usually get them on my left ovary. To me it feels like a dull sharp pain. Most of them go away on their own.
