Does your DH/SO get squigged out by your baby moving?

Or is it just my head case of a husband? I mean he really can't handle seeing or feeling the little one move. It totally freaks him out. It has every time. I love messing with him too, like I will snuggle up behind him in bed so that he get's a few good kicks.

No, MH loves to try to feel the baby move around. With DS I remember we were both laying in bed one night, just watching him move around.

I always think that DH should be eager to feel the baby move, so when the baby's moving, I'll tell him to feel...and he does, but if the baby doesn't move within like, 30 seconds, he's done.

DH hated watching my stomach move with DS. He liked the kicks at first, but then he would say I looked like I belonged in the movie Alien and to cover my belly, lol. This time he's really excited about the movement and asks me to tell him when she moves so he can feel it.

My DH likes it. I wouldn't say he loves it, but he thinks it's kind of neat. I think he was really excited the very first time he felt LO move, but it's not a huge deal to him any more. I think he does find it amusing when he actually sees my belly move, though.

I will purposely sit things on my tummy when I am on the couch just so he has to see it. I suck as a wife.

DH loves it...it makes him laugh and go "do it again" like a little kid. he thinks it's the weirdest thing, but he does love feeling her move and seeing my tummy wiggle.

My DH likes it. Ill tell him to feel and he's suprised at how strong he can kick. He looks at me all wide eyed. Says "WOW" thats cool.

I did this when pregnant with DS1. I would put M&M's on my belly and see if he could kick them off. Sometimes he did. DH thought I was weird.

DH freaks out when baby gets hiccups...he gets worried that the baby is in pain or whatever despite me telling him that it's normal and baby is fine.

MH thinks its neat, but super weird. When I was about 8 months pregnant with our first, DS little butt was sticking up and there was a huge lump poking out of my belly. I, of course, poked it until he rolled over. We watched his butt bump move from one side of my belly to the other, and MH backed slowly away, and was completly freaked!

I wouldn't say DH gets wigged out by it, but he definitely isn't just jumping up and down to feel/see it. I think at first he might have been, but LO would stop moving the second DH would put his hand on my belly. It also made him nervous to push on my stomach, even though the doctor and I both said it was fine. I think after all that build up and let down, he is a little more "meh" about it.

DH liked it when the movements were smaller. Now that he is stronger, and sometimes just runs his foot along my stomach he gets all freaked out. I'm glad to know he's not the only one.

When I was pregnant with our son my husband loved to watch him move and to feel him move. I remember one time I was sitting on the couch with my belly showing right after you could start seeing movement from the outside and we sat there forever watching him move. This time however, it seems like my husband is a lot less interested in feeling the baby move. He's maybe come over twice on his own to feel her move and he'll feel my stomach if I tell him she's moving, but he's not as amazed as last time.

I asked him what was wrong and he just told me that feeling her move against his head just made it too real to him for a minute and he just got overwelmed by emotion. He then sat up and looked me dead in the eye and told me how excited he is to hold his little girl.

Mine does the same thing. I'm so glad it's not just us. It really hurt my feelings at first. He has yet to feel DS move, saw it once, and exclaimed about how it was like something out of alien. He's excited about the baby, and is looking forward to being a dad, this part of it just weirds him out. I'm totally gonna get him with the cuddle kicks at some point though lol.

My DH is not interested in touching my belly to feel the baby move, but he's told me he gets kicked in the back a lot while we're sleeping. It doesn't bother me that he doesn't want to feel. It is kind of weird.
He also didn't want to cut the cord when DD1 was born. He told the Dr he was doing well at keeping it together at that point and didn't think he could handle anything more. I had to laugh because he'd not normally squeamish. Birth is pretty gross though.

This is my SO. Everything is "weird" to him. He won't talk to my belly because it's "weird". He doesn't really have any interest in feeling LO since the first and only time, and that didn't really impress him. And he definitely will not be cutting the cord. Because it's weird and gross, lol. It really kind of sucks, because our midwife actually said she would allow him to catch LO as he's coming out, and I think that would be so cool! But SO is definitely not down for that. Big surprise. :-P

Don't worry, I'm pretty sure this general disinterest has more to do with the fact that the baby isn't actually here yet, and all of the cool stuff that comes with the baby being born is just too icky for him (sissy).

DH is a great dad and is super excited about the baby, but he has never been a fan of the movement thing. Don't even get me started on the L&D room ha-ha Poor Guy, he tries.

It freaked him out at first now he loves my tummy and the baby moving! He is always touching it!
