DS has been in therapy for about 2 months he gets 60 mins once a week from EI. His head banging and hand flapping have grately improved and his eatting is a work in progress. Those and speech are part of his goal list. He has no improvment with his speech and his therapist expressed some concern and she's not satistfied with what he is giving her. She has not worked on anything but speech. But I have been working with him on all his goals. He has no official diagnosis but she says she thinks he has sensory and proprioceptive disorders. She believes no autism cause he initiates conversation(blabbers). She does seem to be confused on where to place him or how to help him. So I'm planning on having a conversation asking her if he would benefit from private/out of pocket therapy. I'm hoping her ego doesn't get in the way and she has my childs best intrest. Just feeling very discouraged and sad about the whole thing cause I wanna help him so much but I just don't know what to do. I welcome any advice or questions cause I need help and I don't have any family to get advice from.
