First things first - happy Friday to all of you!
Like many, I'm sad to make an intro here, but I think it's time for me to face the music on this one.
Most of my details are in my siggy. In addition to that, since my PCOS diagnosis, I actually had an ovulatory cycle! I thought I was out of the woods - but now my body is back to being annovulatory and attempting for the "Queen of Spotting" title.
My RE had told me that my CD3 bloodwork looked normal - but I got the actual numbers back last week from that lab (I know, I should have asked for them earlier). Most of my numbers were in the normal range, but my TSH concerned me - based on what I've read here. It was 2.55 - which I believe is generally considered too high for TTC purposes. Maybe it's time for me to find a new RE before pursuing any treatment?
Anywho - if you've made it this far, thanks for reading! I look forward to participating in this wonderfully supportive community!

I can only hope for the same - but I worry that waiting for an elusive O on my own will make this take even longer ... but at the same time, If it does happen that'd be super groovy.
BTW - I totally love your blog and your new llama picture in your siggy!

Welcome to 3T! Sorry you have to be here. I think it's definitely a good idea to always request your labs/results rather than just letting them tell you they are "normal." Granted we had our testing done with my OB, but she told me several of my tests were normal when in fact, they were not. They also told us DH's S/A was abnormal when it was definitely fine.
Also, make sure you are 100% comfortable with your RE. I'm so jealous of all of these ladies who love their RE's! We're currently searching for a 3rd opinion....
P.S. Your dog is really cute!

Thanks for the info! I haven't had any thyroid problems in the past - I was just a bit concerned because a lot of folks like to bat around 2 as the number to be under. Besides crazy cycles, I don't have any symptoms of thyroid problems. Your opinion is muchly appreciated and rather reassuring :-)

I had to twist my RE's arm to agree to monitoring - but it was successful twisting, so if/when I finally start my clomid cycle, I'll definitely be monitored!

Yeah - I think my RE is kind of a pompus a$$, so that alone has me wanting to start looking for another. The only reason I went with him was because my insurance covered IF testing, but now that I'm out of the testing phase and into the treatment phase, it doesn't really matter where I go! I'd love to love my RE as well. I'm sure it makes a big difference.
And thanks for the puppy love - I know she appreciates being admired :-)

Thanks! It's a bit of a disingenuous series of pictures - it's all the same puppy! One's just the grown-up version of the too adorable little puppy. :-)

Thanks Keely! I knew it was approaching that time when I realized all the "regulars" I liked from TTGP were all intro-ing over here ... but now I get to join you all! So there is a silver lining :-)

Welcome! I agree with PPs about the TSH number. My endo wants mine below 2, but a level of 2.5 would not make me wonder if my RE was competent. Having to twist his arm to get clomid monitoring, OTOH....
Especially since you don't like him, I think it is a good idea to look for a new RE. The process is stressful enough, you want to have faith your RE knows what s/he is doing.
Antagonist IVF 7 retrieved, 4 fert w/ICSI&AH, 2 blasts transferred. Beta #1 9/20: 367 Beta #2 9/22: 841
Thanks! Depending on how things go with my crazy spotting, I might give this guy one cycle to see how things goes before uprooting myself to a new RE.
Your siggy pic is definitely making me hungry though - I love me some strawberry jam!!
