Moody!!!

I'm in my 6th week of pregnancy and I totally feel like I'm PMSing.  Everything and everyone is on my last nerve....spouse, co-workers, drivers.  Is this normal?  Is this the hormones increasing?

Re: Moody!!!

  • I am going with normal because I feel the same way. I have very little patience and my husband is driving me crazy (bless his heart). I have a few things I hate: one is repeating myself and the other is the sound of chewing or crunching while eating. Last night he was eating g croutons in his salad and the sound was making me sick to my stomach, but i literally got mad at him. I felt bad immediately, but it sounded like he was chewing on screws! Good luck to the both of us and them!

  • I am 1 day away from six weeks and I have been so up and down it is rediculous! One minute DH says something that makes me want to cry with happiness, then he says something so stupid I want to throw something at him. I have been sobbing at least once a day - it is a bit rediculous! So I feel ya - It's important to remember the reason for the raging hormones and take a deep breath and realize it's probably not as big of a deal as it seems at the time... ie. I got SO mad at DH last night for AGREEING WITH ME at the end of a discussion because he can't just agree to disagree and he makes me feel like he is only agreeing because he knows its what I want - - I'd rather make the decision together! LOL! poor husbands...

  • Yes and the Hubster gets the worst of it. I honestly hate almost everything he does. Like just now he walks in goes to the fridge drinks a sip of something cold and then wants to come over and kiss me. I was like eww no your lips are cold it is like kissing a fish. Everything pretty much annoys me and honestly I have yet to feel guilty for being such a B****! I will say this is not normal for me and usually my big worry is that I have hurt someones feelings!

  • Seems normal to me and it sucsks. However, after having DD my hormones made me a complete train wreck for a while, so a little moodines isn't that bad. I am not looking forward to the post partum hormone crash (coupled with lack of sleep).

  • So glad to know it's not just me. Everything irritates me right now. :) Ready for this moodiness to move on. :)  And yes, my DH was also chewing food so loud the other night it drove me nuts. He was eating peanuts and it was so annoying. :)
