1st Trimester

M/S question?

When did you start throwing up?

I have been nausea since I found out.  But still haven't gotten sick.  With both my pregnancies before, I was getting sick every day by this point.  I am not  too naive to think it won't start any day now.  (A girl can hope though)

I am just curious when it started for others.

Re: M/S question?

  • Haven't thrown up yet this time around and I only threw up a handful of times with both of my other pregnancies.

Maybe you will be lucky this time!

  • Today. Out of no where. In the afternoon on our way home from shopping. Just hit me and now I feel like I am going to be sick every 20 minutes

Maybe you will start getting sick tomorrow, maybe never.  Take it as it comes.   With DD I was mostly all day nauseous, I only threw up a handful of times.

  • With DD I was throwing up daily (multiple times daily) starting at 5 weeks.  With DS it started at 6 weeks.  With the other DS it happened only a handful of times...his pregnancy was easy.  With this LO I have thrown up 3 times - once from brushing my teeth and twice from eating chocolate.  The first time was at 7 weeks.

  • I have been so nauseous since somewhere around 6 weeks that I have barely been able to get out of bed. However, I have only thrown up a handful of times, the first was probably around 7 weeks.

I've been nauseous/queasy for three weeks now. I threw up for the first time on Wednesday (2 days ago). Kind of hit out of nowhere, luckily I was working at home. I had literally texted my husband that the nausea was out of control. I didn't even have time to put the phone down, just ran to the bathroom and that was all she wrote. Luckily I've been okay since, but I keep anticipating it to happen again. Fingers crossed that it won't be too frequent for any of us!

  • With my first one I didn't have any m/s but with this one it has been awful.  It started off not too bad around 5 weeks but now at 7 weeks it is bad.  Blahhh....   Maybe you will be lucky and not have any =)

  • Im almost 10 weeks, and I've only thrown up TWICE so far. I'm nauseous a LOT -- it's calmed down but it used to be all day long, every day. It didn't happen for me until 7 or 8 weeks (the first time, I think it was just my prenatal making me sick).

You might be lucky and never throw up! Or barely throw up, like me :D -knock on wood-

I can only hope.  I had m/s my entire pregnancy with DD.

  • No throwing up here either - just nausea.

  • nausea started midway through my 6th week.  M/S only twice, both times within an hour of taking my prenatal - so I take that only with a heavy dinner when I'm home now.  I'm at about 8.5 now and the nausea is a little less intense this week.

Mine always seems to start between 3 - 5 pm and lasts all night.    Good for work, but bad for my husband who comes home to an uncomfortable me every night :(

  • First time was 5ish weeks, then it was somewhat frequent around 7-8 weeks, and now it has died off.
