Has anyone tried this, (IUI related)

Wondering since we have MFI if MH can give semen samples a couple of times a month, freeze them, thaw them and then combine them for an IUI. Anyone know if this is possible, or how much more it would cost? Will ask my RE about it, but just wondering. I was thinking this would give us a better chance and take most of the pressure off during IUI day, last IUI we only had 2 million post wash..
Patiently waiting for our 1st since 9/2010.
Dealing with MFI, good count, good motility, 3% morph-HSG all clear, all other test results came back normal, IUI is our next step
May 2012- Clomid 50mg + IUI = BFN
June- Cycle Break
July- Forced cycle break due to cysts
August- Femara, Trigger, IUI#2= ?

    Yes they can absolutely do that.   DH has ED issues and our RE offered that up in case he had trouble providing a sample the day of the IUI. GL!

    I've thought about this for when we start doing treatment cycles.

    I would imagine that you'd have to pay to store sperm (I don't know what the costs are, though). I definitely plan on asking when we get to this!

    I dont know about the combining part but my DH works out of town alot so I asked about freezing so I wouldnt have to stress about him being home to give up the goods. They told me the cost was a extra $200-$400. Not bad when you consider how much we pay for everything else. Good Luck!!

    I would be concerned about with freezing sperm is not all the sperm will make it after thaw. Be sure to find out how much makes it to thaw.  It's definitely a possibility.

    I guess I didn't update it. It's a fee for each frozen sample, then a flat fee for washing. It'd end up being almost $1,000 :/
