Another sex after baby question.

I saw the previous post and figured I would post my question too...

DH and I had our first encounter last night post baby. I was anticipating it to hurt but instead I really did not feel much. I could tell that he was inside of me but it was nothing like before (a major lack of sensitivity).

Did anyone else have this happen to them? Did the sensitivity come back?

  • I went to the dr yesterday and was told I needed to I needed to wait 2 more weeks that I wasn't completely healed from my episiotomy. Fine with me!! ha I am like terrified to have sex, my DH on the other hand was disappointed and has been driving me crazy. She told me be prepared for it to hurt so now I'm really excited haha...my friend whos baby is 4months now says it still hurts and she just has lots of wine before..Sooooo...I'm going to stock up on the booze!

  • We did it for the first time a week ago and it was a little weird.  Mostly for me it was uncomfortable because it had been so long and I think I was a little dry maybe from BFing.  It was enjoyable but needed to take it slow.

Don't be scared. I also had an episiotomy. I was cleared after my 6 week pp checkup and we took advantage of that. It did hurt a little at first, but we tried a different position and I was fine. It was not terrible by any means, just slightly uncomfortable at first.

  • I did not have this problem, for me after babies my sensitivity went way up!  I hope it starts coming back really quick for you!

It was very similar for me.  It barely hurt except a little where I was stitched.  "Weak" is the word I would use .  I sure hope it gets better.
