1st Trimester

Cramping?

Is mild cramping normal early in pregnancy?  Their is no blood or anything like that (I seem to be a little "wetter" sorry, tmi).  Just occasionally a little cramp-y.

Re: Cramping?

  • Normal.  Uterus stretching.  You're going to have more wetness down there during pregnancy--that's also normal.  The only time it's not normal is if you're seeing period-like blood.

  • I feel your pain! I have had nothing but cramping in my 1st trimester! My doctor continuously reassures me that it is fine, as long as there is no bleeding and the cramping isn't severe and lasting more than an hour.

  • I'm so glad you posted this, I am feeling EXACTLY the same things.... I just was kinda embarrassed to ask about the wetness...

  • 5W5D - - I am feeling a little soggy too... :( it makes me a bit self-conscious, but then I remember why it's happening and can't help but smile!

I keep getting little tiny pangs that ALMOST feel like cramps, but aren't anywhere near what I was feeling during AF.

Also, my digestive track feels like it has taken an overhaul and I am WAY more sensitive than I thought it would be with just being queesy having heartburn (oh the heartburn!!) or even my bowel moments have updated - maybe because I am eating healthier?

I've been having the mild cramping, too, for about three weeks now. I keep reading that it's normal, but I probably won't be totally convinced until I hear it from my doctor, but it is nice to know I'm not the only one!
