Canada why must you torture me?

So I've been living in Toronto since October of 2010...Canada has a lot of great qualities, free health care, friendly people, Niagra Falls and delicious milk...however they don't have my 3 loves...Marlboro's, flaming hot cheetos and pizza rolls! OH CANADA WHY!!!!!!!!!!?????????????????

    Tambat I do buy bagged milk...and dixie ya I'm pretty sure they don't have that either...everyone says OH BUT THEY HAVE POUTINE! I hate that stuff..gravy on your fries is just gross..I like crunchy fries not soggy ones!

    I used to be a cashier at Loblaws so I know their smoke shops sell Marlboro's.  The smoke shops are usually inside the store, but separate and the are called 'Holy Smokes'.

    DH is American so we do day trips over the border for things we can't get here that he misses.... But it's all food stuff.  LOL. 

    ETA: Loblaws includes Real Canadian Superstore, same company and they both have the smoke shops.

    I Used to be a starbucks girl..now I'm Tim Hortons all the way they make the most PERFECT coffee 2 creams one sugar I've ever tasted!

    I know you can get some sort of Pizza Rolls here. H's BFF's wife always gets them when we have parties at their house. H loves them, but we can meet find them. I'll ask where she gets them, but it'll be a few days, because they're at Darian Lake!

    Everytime my dad goes home to visit family, he brings  me back coffee crisps, ketchup potato chips, and cherry blossoms. He brings my husband smarties. My aunt makes the best butter tarts I've ever had!

    I love me a Timmies double double, but Second Cup is where it's at for lattes and iced coffees.  Especially with my student price card (free upsize!). Shhhh... I graduated in 2010 but my U of T student card has no expiry on it so I still buy an SPC card every year for the discount.

    Ha!  Enjoy!  I've never smoked, but DH used to before he quit about 8 years ago so I totally get it.

    I don't know??  It's usually very late/early when they come out and we're usually drunk, so I have no idea if they are actually good or not.

    The population of Canada is 34 million and the population of NY state (for example) is 20 million ish. And Canada is huge. Thats probably why it is so clean!

    OMG you have no idea how much I miss my Timmies! I'm like your H.. always our first stop over the border because I have to get me some Time Hortons! My H teases me about it but he always gets something too lol Smile

    I had a friend come visit Portland (OR) for the first time from the east coast and one of her first comments was that it didn't smell like garbage anywhere and that surprised her. Compared to east coast cities Portland is tiny. I think less people make smaller messes.
