carsick?

We went out of town last week, and DD got carsick a few times. Poor thing was so miserable. We turned her seat around for the drive home, and she was fine. Tried to turn it around (rf) when we got home, and she started getting carsick again. Anyone else ever have this problem? Anything I can do to stop out? I want to keep her RF, but not if it will make her sick.

Re: carsick?

  • Lucky you could turn her around.  This happened to us a month ago.  We were going to a bbq work party for DH.  His boss lives 2 hours away from us and in a very hilly/woodsy location.  DD threw up all over herself two minutes away from the party.  I wonder if those wrist bands would work for a LO - I don't think they have any chemicals on them, I think its just a pressure point kinda thing.  Look at a drugstore.com or something similar for motion sickness...there's gotta be something for LO?!?!

  • We are going through the same thing. I can't wait to face him forward. The pedi reccommended not feeding before trips (which i never did)  And she said she could put LO on dramamine. Ummm no thanks. I'm curious to see what others say!
