Exhaustion again nearing third tri?

Is this normal? The past few days I have been super tired. I actually only had a few really tired days during my first trimester, such that I could fully enjoy my all day sickness as much as possible, but I had a lot of pep the past few weeks. I feel like crashing already and normally stay up to at least 11 PM.

Maybe it is just the heat?

I don't know but I have started getting tired more too. I felt good from the beginning of second tri up until this week. Very tired but it's been very hot here too.

It's either the heat or 3rd tri creeping up on me (maybe both), but for the past week I have been much more exhausted than my usual self. And if I don't get a mid-day power nap then I'm toast by 8 pm.

I'm getting more exhausted as well... it's so hard because I still have so much left to do before baby arrives, and all I want to do when I get home is collapse on the couch! I guess I'm glad I'm not the only one, but I can't imagine it gets easier from here on out... :-/

I'm only 22 weeks and there isn't much heat in Seattle right now but I can tell you for the last week I've been pretty darn tired!!

I'm not as far along as you, but I have days like this. I definitely think its the heat, it sure doesn't help.

With my first pregnancy, I was exhausted the whole way through. I never felt that "2nd tri burst" people talked about. Growing a human requires work! I'd also reevaluate how you're doing on iron and water intake just to be sure, but I don't think feeling tired is abnormal in pregnancy.

Yep. I can't get enough sleep these days. But it's difficult to actually fall asleep and stay asleep. It's a lose lose situation.

yup, I'm feeling it too. And I haven't really been out in the heat, I'm pretty sure it's just third tri kicking in.

Right there with you I hit 3rd trimester this week and feel like I got hit by a truck I am so tired. I am in bed every night this week by 8:30 I feel so silly

YES! I am close to my third tri and I am feeling like a zombie again. Sooo tired. I go to sleep right after I put my son to sleep.

Amen. I am definitely feeling more exhausted day after day...some days I can power through, but other days I just want to go to bed at 6pm. The earliest I have gotten away with is 7pm (...yes, I'm secretly 70 years old) but that was when I was the only one home and had nothing on my to-do list.
