Even though I go several times before I guess my uterus is still pushing on the bladder. Any suggestions? The times I have gone on the trail barely anything comes out! I just checked with the doc to make sure I don't have a UTI. I wonder if doing more kegels or ab exercises would help in some way... or maybe this is just it for the rest of pregnancy!
I have this same problem (only I don't run, never have). There was a pic from the ultrasound that made it clear...my baby's head is directly on my bladder!

This happened to me with Preg #1, and just last night I felt it starting up again. It doesn't get better, sorry. I eventually had to just switch to brisk walking because it got too uncomfortable--the more you hop around while running, the more pressure baby is going to push on it. We had our ultrasound yesterday and baby is right above my cervix, so the pressure down low is pretty uncomfortable when running.
All I can do is run for about 1-2 minutes, walk for 5, repeat. That at least makes me feel like I can keep my heart rate up a good amount.
I honestly don't know how these moms who are 8 month pregnant run races. I just don't get it!
I notice this when I ride my bike. It doesn't hurt, but it's really uncomfortable. Lately, I've switched to running on an elliptical machine because that didn't seem to bother my bladder as much.
I've had the same thing happen lately! I either have to switch to brisk walking every so often, or run at a place that has bathroom facilities ( a park or something like that). It's frustrating, but I guess all a part of the process :-)
Kegels will help you from leaking. Wear a pad if you need a little extra confidence. And then relax. There's not much in your bladder-- it's just your LO pressing on it. If you can survive the discomfort, like PP said, after the first few minutes, it should become less noticeable.
I've had this problem for the past week. I feel like I have to pee the second I start running. If I break, I don't feel like I have to pee anymore - so I've decided to run my run and think about something, anything, else. I'm not running long distances though - 3 miles a day. That's about it for me. I'm coping with the urge by denying its existence....which seems doable, for now.
SAme here. I walk every day and even if I go before I leave, 12 minutes into it I have to go again. I also saw on the ultra sound, baby girl likes to shove her head on my bladder alot, and do head stands on it.
