yet another growth spurt

This time instead of being grumpy, she has decided to no longer STTN. I've been spoiled. The earliest I've had to get up the past month has been 3:30. Now, she is up sometime between 1 and 2:30 wanting to eat. And not liking going back to sleep.

This morning was 1:30, 4:50, didn't want to go back to sleep, then up for the dat 6:50. She is typically 4am, back to sleep, then up for the day at 7:30.

I did get a little more sleep after the 4:50 feeding. DH gets up at 4:30 or 5 to go to work so I stuck his pillow between DD and the edge of the bed, tucked the covers so she couldn't get them over her face, and I dozed while she laid their and kicked and played for a bit. She did go back to sleep eventually at which point I fell asleep completely too.

I am looking forward to life getting back to normal. I do appreciate that she is happy when awake though.

i feel your pain. DS has been sleeping 830-4, nurse and then 430-830. Not this week...830-1, 1-330, 4-7 (maybe 730 at a push). ugh.

Uggh. DD was eat at 7:30, bed at 8, up at 4 or 4:30 then back down until 7:30. Hopefully both of our LOs are just in a growth spurt phase and go back to STTN soon.

She isn't much of a napper so it's been great that she STTN. Even now that she is up more, she still isn't napping well. Means I don't get much rest either.

ah! I'm glad I'm not the only one and I'm glad that it sounds like a growth spurt.

DS was also going to sleep by 8 then wake up for a feeding at 3 then go back to sleep till 7. Now he goes to sleep at 8 but wakes up for a feeding at 11pm then again at 4:30 then at 6:30. So far it's been 2 nights in a row. Let's hope this goes by soon!
