Babies: 9 - 12 Months

time to babyproof

So our LO who is not yet crawling has become a professional at rolling and sitting up where he needs to be this now means he can open our entertainment center doors and pull out every CD, yes this happened last night in a matter of a 2 minutes. Looking for recomendations for some child proofing that doesnt look bad or stand out on our nice furntiure. Someone had suggested something to do with magnets to us, anyone have any suggestions for something safe yet nice for our living room

We got a whole bunch of these for the cabinets in the living room (baby's play area). I would look around on the site and read reviews for the different types of locks they have. The magnet ones don't get great reviews...that's why we went with these.

  • I LOVE our magnets that we used.  It took my dad about 5 minutes to put them all in the kitchen and my DS can't get into anything!  Nobody would be able to tell that they are there.  The only downside is you are supposed to screw them in.  But I have been playing around with the idea of using a the double sided tape that can hold pictures on the wall to put them on some more furniture.  I haven't tried that yet, but  I think it would work.
