Pack n' play and Playard

Hi ladies.  Does anyone know if there is a difference between the PnP and Playard, and if so, what the difference is?

Thanks!

  • I could be wrong (and probably am), but I think they're the same thing.  I think originally playards started out to be more like playpens - but now I just think it depends on the company, in regards to what they call it.

Will be interested to see if I completely made that up in my head.  Ha!

  • I think Pack n Play is trademarked to a particular company (maybe Graco?) and playard is the generic term.

Graco uses both terms.  Well, my Playard looks just as functional as PnP's so I'll just make the executive decision to deem them the same..lol.

     Thanks ladies!
