OK... I am having trouble figuring out what is going on with my body... I will be 6 wks tomorrow - and I am wondering if I am crazy or if my body is just oversensitive due to all of the changes... I am not sure what I am feeling and I am freaking a bit about miscarrying ( Plus sized pregnancy ). My first Dr appt is nxt friday...
I do not think I am feeling cramping... but every once in a while I feel almost like I am just getting a poke (almost what a pap feels like? maybe?)
I haven't been spotting, but I have had quite a bit of discharge (clearish) - - I've been feeling extra wet lately (which is unusual for me...)
Also I've been getting goofy feelings but I think it is just my digestive tract and food moving around in my intestines... Has anyone mistaken having to use the bathroom for cramping?
I know - it seems odd to mix the two up but it is weird when you are hypersensitive about your body - you feel EVERYTHING!
Re: abdominal sensations
Cramping can be your uterus stretching (even this early) but more often it is gas and bloat. I've also had the "poke" sensation you're describing, almost like a pressure in my vagina that only lasts a few seconds. It can be nerve wracking but the general consensus is as long as cramping (or any pain down there) doesn't last more than an hour and there is no spotting/bleeding there isn't any problem.
ETA: I've also had a ton of clear, creamy CM too. That is also very common!

So I'm not sure if my post went through or not and Sorry if i'm posting twice, but I'm kind of freaking out. I've felt very bloated for the past couple of weeks which I was told is normal. I have been mildly nauseus but not really. Since my Dr told me to keep doing what I've been doing when i saw him last week I've continued to excercise. Yesturday I did a pretty extreme workout and felts horrific afterwards. I was dizzy, nauseus and all day was bloated with terrible idigestion. I'm so scared I overexerted myself and harmed the baby somehow (or the embreyo from further developing) because today I feel totally fine. No pregnancy symptoms at all, no bloating. Have you guys had days when you feel like you're not pregnant at all but its all fine? Ah I feel like I'm constantly worried now that i'm doing something wrong or something harmful to the baby..

Everything is stretching so any sort of funky tenderness/soreness can be considered normal unless it's accompanied by blood (not always a bad sign but definitely an indicator it's time to let your OB know what's going on) or actually painful. If you feel stabby on the inside I'd let your OB know.
I had lots of weird soreness on my left side about 1.5 inches below my belly button but 2 great u/s showed nothing wrong so I attribute it to a growing ute!
Discharge increases during pregnancy - I've seen a lot of STMs on here compare it to a "fire hydrant in their pants."
Your digestive tract slows down a lot because of the hormones pumping through your body. You might have increased cramping around the time you need to have a BM as your tract is trying to push everything around!
Referring to your workout as "pretty extreme" isn't a good starter. Your OB should've provided more information about [specifically] watching your heart rate. While pregnant you should keep your heart rate below 140 - if you're usually a vigorous exerciser you can still do more and keep your heart rate under 140 than say me who doesn't exercise much but it's important to pay attention to that number. Staying extra hydrated and keeping yourself from getting too hot (internal temperature under 101-102) are both also important.
It's unlikely you injured your little nugget from one workout but I'd keep this in mind for future trips to the gym. Some women do have a little spotting after exercising, it's considered normal as long as it's not actual bleeding/bright red spots - those are indicators to let your OB know what's going on.
I've spent the majority of my pregnancy without any symptoms and have had 2 great ultrasounds so don't put too much emphasis on symptoms alone.
