Brown Spotting (kinda TMI)

So I had some brown spotting this morning when I went to the bathroom.  I was sort of straining a little because I've been having some constipation.  It totally freaked me out!  I called the doctor and she sent me for a blood test.  I got the results back this afternoon and my hCg was at 34000.  SO that's good, but just curious, has this happened to anyone else??  I go back on Friday to make sure the numbers are still going up.

    I wouldn't worry if it is brown.  Just take it easy.  Smile

    When it happened to me it was the beginning of my m/c, but I know it is normal for a lot of people. Are you going in for another test to check doubling?

    I'm also freaking out about brown spotting - but I still haven't had a period and its very minimal.  everything I've read said this should be fine.  But I don't think I'll feel better about it until I actually see whats growing inside me.

    I am in the same boat today. Haven't had any at all until today. I am a nurse at a small urgent care hospital so I know what's normal and what's not but I talked to my Dr at work today. He said if it's small its okay but just take it easy. So I went home. Still kinda nervous though. I've never been pregnant before and it's all new to me (on the 'being the patient'' side of things anyway).

     I feel like it has something to do with the amount I did yesterday and maybe even with intrrcourse?? (sorry tmi).

    I feel the same way! I just want to see what is inside of me and hear the heartbeat.. until then it all feels surreal and too good to be true. I don't have much "spotting" but I have been overly wet (TMI) and it has had a slight color to it, yellow/brown - but it is very thin... seems just like discharge - not sure that it is actually spotting...

    I have brown spotting every couple days. More frequently if after intercourse. It's "normal".

    It's normal. I had a tiny bit of brown spotting around weeks 5 and 6. I noticed too that I only got it after sex. The first time I had brown spotting it was for about 3 days after sex, now I just get a tiny bit for half a day or so.

    Thanks ladies!  We have been avoiding sex because with my daughter I had a subchorionic hemorhage and I was on pelvic rest.  I just wanted to follow the same rules just in case.  I go back tomorrow morning for a follow up blood test.  Hoping for rising numbers!
