I'm taking DD to a "paint it yourself" pottery place on Tuesday. DH stores all of his change in an old pretzel jar, so we're going to make him a piggy bank. I've never been to one of these places before, but I'm hoping they'll also have Christmas ornaments that I can use as gift tags for our other family members. I'm thinking I'll have to paint the base coat and then let her embellish it. I'm also hoping a friend will come with me to help take pictures, because I'm sure DD will have a good time painting.

Anyway, I guess I am a bad mom b/c I have not even thought of that. I usually got him something from the dog...so you'd think I would have planned this better.
