Do we even do WTF Wednesdays anymore

Well even if we don't I've got a WTF Wednesday edition that I had to share. It's not very often that I actually WTF in real life any more as some of you girls might remember I'm a college educator, sociologist by training and use to do social work, so weird ***, off the wall or nasty comments, use to all that. However today I had a WTF...

Coworker: "Did you hear Brianda finally got knocked up."

Penguin: "Good for her I know that she and her partner had been trying for some time."

Coworker: "Speaking of knocked up, when is number 2 coming for you? I mean you daughter is 18 months and it's pretty selfish of you to not give her a brother or sister."

Penguin: "Excuse me wtf did you just say?"

Coworker: "Well seriously I know that you and your husband plan on being in-take foster parents, but there is just something so special about a biological sibling." 

Penguin: "Coworker, if you don't have anything more productive to discuss about work, you need to show yourself to the door. I'm done speaking with you."

WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE?
