Adoption

Anyone in Northern CA adopting newborn in near future?

I have extra newborn breastmilk and would love to give it to a family who is adopting where the baby would otherwise not be getting breastmilk. So far u have 200 oz from my daughters first two weeks of life. I posted on human milk for human babies but no luck as far as connecting with a family expecting a newborn just yet.

What a nice offer, wish I could take you up on it, but not expecting until December and I am on the opposite coast.

PS-  Thanks... it meant so much to me... it's a special gift!

I already posted on Human Milk for Human Babies and while there are plenty of desperate families with older babies I haven't been able to find a newborn that absolutely needs the milk or wouldn't be getting any otherwise. A coworker is checking through her local adoption agency to see if they can help coordinate a match. If that doesn't worn I will definitely try the site you suggested. Thanks!

  • I found a pregnant Mom recently diagnosed with cancer and undergoing chemo. She will not be able to BF so I am giving the milk to her. GL with your adoptions ladies!
