FF - Mixing water Question

Hi

We FF and Pump. For the formula we have been buying the water that comes in the one gallon jugs. But from reading the label its just purified public water. So i asked my DH if we could use the water from the fridge since it is runs through the filter. He thinks it would be okay. But I dont know for sure if thats okay.

What does every who FF else do? Would Filtered Water from the fridge be okay?

Right now we're using the water from the jugs (my sister bought us 5 & we're still going through them). After we run out we'll probably use our water. I would assume that water from the fridge is ok. Have you asked your pediatrician?

We just use bottled water. I would assume the fridge filtered water would be fine, but I would make sure to keep the filter changed regularly.

Our pedi told us we could just boil our tap water, so that's what we do. We boil a big pot of it once a week and then keep it in a pitcher to use for mixing.

We use a Brita filter for our tap water. Unless your water is not reliably safe (well water, or from a municipal source that often has problems), it should be fine. Just make sure to follow the manufacturers recommendation for changing the fikter.
