Newborn diapers are too small, but size 1 is too big. Help!

We have Pampers Swaddlers in both NB and 1. The NB were clearly too small, but the 1s are so big that they leak. I do have a small pack of Huggies Pure & Natural in NB that seem just a bit bigger than the Swaddlers, and I'm trying the first one now. If this doesn't work, any other brands/varieties to try that might run big in NB or small in Size 1?

I heard Huggies are smaller than pampers. We've used size 1 since she was born. We just folded down the front to make them smaller.

I have found huggies size 1 to be the perfect in between size from pampers swaddlers NB and 1. Costco brand size 1 also is smaller than the pampers. I had my little man in the pampers size 1 when they were too big, like way up his back and belly, but I had no leaks and they hold MUCH more pee.

parents choice, walmart's brand (not only are they cheaper)

they have newborn diapers and they run big i think. maybe try those?

Yeah, the Huggies NB leaked all over the place. They looked bigger than Pampers to me, but my brain is pretty fried from sleep deprivation so I could totally be wrong.

I do have Huggies Little Snugglers in a size 1. I can try those next.

Huggies work well if your child has a large butt if they are skinny they will seem big. They never fit DD right even though I throught they were better than the dry max that gave DD a terriable rash

We found that you have to make huggies diapers a little tighter than you would make pampers swaddlers or they leak. Once we made them tighter they worked fine (I still prefer pampers just happened to have some huggies)
