ob/gyn rec in or near Orland Park

Hi everyone,

I moved here about a year ago and will have my first ob/gyn app on Tuesday. I have only been there once for a regular check up before I got preg and wasn't that impressed by the bedside manners of nurses. Also, I am 39 and don't even know yet if they will keep me as a "high risk" pregnancy.

Does anyone have any recommendations for a ob/gyn in or near Orland Park? Greatly appreciated. Thanks.

    I like the folks at Pronger Smith in Tinley on LaGrange Dr Yen and Gordon are great.  Bonus that they also have everyone under one roof - OB/GYN, GP, Peds.

    I'm going to Glenwood Medical in Orland Park (108th and 159th) and they're pretty great so far.  My SIL recommended them to me.  She had 2 healthy kids despite some complications she had during pregnancy.  They are super attentive and helpful.  (708) 873-7775

    Thank you so much for the recommendations. I'll see how my appointment goes tomorrow and will then decide whether or not I will stay with her.

    I see Dr. John McInerney out of Palos Heights (roughly Route 83 + Southwest Highway). He's affiliated with both Christ and Palos; I can't say enough about how fantastic he is! I switched over to his practice when I was 30 weeks pregnant with my son (he's six now) and it was one of the best decisions I could've made. Anyway, I know this is a late response so I hope you already found a great OB you love, but just in case...thought I'd throw Dr. Mac into the hat. :)

    Dr, Lori Leipold - She has offices in both Orland and Palos

    I also saw Dr Yen, Dr Gordon, and Dr Won affiliated with Pronger Smith in Tinley Park. All great doctors but I prefer the men over the women. They explain things more and have great personalities.
