Does anyone have any tips for getting my son to successfully take to a sippy cup? He kinda gets it...but only when we hold it and him like he's getting a bottle. When we give it to him in his high chair, he just bangs it up and down or flings it on the floor. We are looking forward to ditching the bottle too. Thanks!

This. We tried the regular kind first and she just wasn't getting it so we got a straw cup and she's been doing great with it.

I just kept offering it to him and eventually he stopped playing with it and started drinking. He still drops it off the high chair tray when he's done drinking, but he's getting better about that.
We started with the Nuk soft sippys with handles and now he uses the taller cups with no handles.
