Hi ladies.
If you live downtown and are looking for daycare for an infant, there is one in the south loop accepting infants. It's called It Takes A Village and it's at 800 S. Wells in the River City building. We live in Old Town and could not find a daycare with openings - got on lots of waiting lists and were going to use a nanny till we found this one. They opened in Sept and DD's been goin there since the end of Sept. We really like the teachers and the facility is decent. They're building a permanent facility in the same building opening in 2009.
It's not too far from the loop, has an area where you can park for pick-up/drop-off, and is close to 90/290 off Congress.
Just thought I'd put this out there - hope I can help someone who was in the same predicament we were!
