I was wondering if anyone on here knows of a good obgyn practice in Towson?

Yeah, I currently go to the Towson location. It's just getting harder and harder to get seen quickly for the yearly type of exam. I'm not pregnant we've just starting ttc but when I am I was wondering are they quick to get you in when you call them up and tell them that you're pregnant and need to set up the first prenatal exam or is it still a long wait to schedule an appt ? I love my Dr. there as well lately it just seems that it's such a big practice and that it's getting more difficult to get early appts with them. I've come across this with regular gyn exams there but I have no idea what scheduling appts is like when your pregnant.

I really liked OBGYN Specialists. They're right off York Rd in Timonium and have an office in Owings Mills too, they deliver at GBMC. I had a fantastic experience and still drive an hour to use them after I moved. The midwife, Jeannette is fantastic.

I see Dr E Lim at St Joe's. I've never had a problem getting an appt. I always just see her. However, they only have daytime hours. No weekends or evenings.

Her backup is her sister, who is pretty much just like her. Thier backup is Dr Aziz (sp?) who is older, and who I wouldn't pick as my treating OBGYN, but acceptable to me as a backup. She's my mom's GYN, so that's pretty funny.

I never had a problem when I was pregnant. I scheduled all my appts weeks/months in advance on Fridays, when I was available. I went between Towson/Bel Air (since I'm located in PA) and it all worked out well for me. I was able to see all the doctors/mid-wife. I do find that when I'm not pregnant, I waited longer since they seem to take the pregnant women faster.
