  I wasn't given any narcotics but I think it's Percocet (oxycodone and acetaminophen).

  You don't have to take them, you might be ok with just Ibuprofen.

  b/w=FSH 15.6, AMH 0.4 surprise natural BFP on 3/12/11

  I took one Vicodin and one 600mg Ibuprofen every 6 hrs.  Worked great!

  I was given percocet and was on it for about a week.  I can't take ibuprophen, but I switched to tylenol after that and was fine.

  Percocet and motrin was the combination for me that worked. I stopped taking them about a week to a week and a half after delivery.

  I was given Percocet (oxycodone and acetaminophen) in the hospital and when I was released I was given a two week prescription for tylenol no 3 (with codeine)

  I had a pain pump for 24 hours will all 3 of mine then it was percocet and 800mg motrin. These are the two I got in prescriptions as well.

  They gave me Vicodin but to be honest I HATED how it made me feel so I took regular tylenol most the time or nothing at all. My twins are preemies so I am pumping milk for them but the doc's assured me the Vicodin wouldn't do anything to the babies milk.

  I just had my c section on the 11th and honestly I left the hospital after 2 days. I only needed something for pain for two more days after that. Best advice I got was to put a pad over the incision to cushion it for the first few days after .. let me tell ya it helped wonders!!!!

  I was supposed to be given hydrocodone, but I'm allergic, so I got Darvaset instead. 

   

  i took it a week, and then Tylenol.

  Whatever they started me off in the hospital with wasn't cutting the pain so they switched me to percocet and sent me home with that. I also took 800 ibuprofen every 6 hours.

  I was given Percocet. I took it as needed after my hospital stay, along with ibuprofen. I BFed, and baby was/is fine.
