  Yes, we are okay! I took LO to my parent's house last night to get away from the smoke. It was a scary night! Things haven't changed much today and the winds are not howling at the moment...hopefully these are good signs!

  I am just sick over Colorado Springs, though. I used to live in one of the neighborhoods that is under threat...or maybe it already burned! We have friends down that way, and also really close to NCAR.

  It is heartbreaking! I really hope for lots of rain and no lightning to give us all a break.

  I was worried about you too! Our friends in Colorado springs have been updating us all day on fb...I'm keeping all of you in my T&Ps

  The Colorado Springs situation is unimaginable. There is always a feeling of security at being in a neighborhood and not completely in the mountains, but this proves that nature has other plans sometimes. My heart breaks for the many, many people who have lost their homes.  I hope your friends are away from the fire!

  Good to hear! We've had light rain and lightning all day... hopefully it's staying away from you guys! Colorado Springs is breaking my heart. Every time I see another picture of it my heart just sinks.
