I feel super guilty looking at my registry. Like I am peeking in my parents closet a Christmas presents. . . I need to stop. / Any of you ladies having trouble not peeking?

I stalked mine until the bitter end. Did the same with my bridal registry. I still had fun opening boxes that were mailed and gifts at the shower. I no longer feel guilty...therefore you don't have to either!
it can be bittersweet- as I peeked at mine- and was sad when no one bought anything off of it.
At all?? Are you having a shower? I ask because that is often how people find out where you are registered. Don't worry. People will celebrate with you either before and/or after the baby arrives and that means great, useful gifts.

I stalked my bridal registries too! I don't remember feeling so bad. . . Weird.

I just had my shower on sunday. Only 1 registry gift was purchased and we had 25 guests come! Everything else I got was clothes. I was surprised by it, but grateful for everyone for coming and for getting gifts. My mom was the only one to use the registry. So it was 99% clothes. Which means i'll be busy stocking up on everything I was holding off on buying until after the shower.

We haven't bought any clothes because we know that is mostly what we will get. Not a lot has been purchased off my registry but I was so happy to see that a couple things had been bought since yesterday! Then guilt instantly sank in as soon as I finished looking at it. All a part of being raised Catholic. Haha!

We peek, too! I do keep it pretty quiet since I told my mom about it once and she was scandalized. I decided I wouldn't mention it to her again since I don't want her to tell the guests that we're peeking (more might go off-registry then).

I peek alllll the time too...but since I don't know who is buying what, it still has some element of surprise...ha!
That is what I tell DH, he doesn't buy it! Since I already had my shower I've pretty much stopped except for taking the things off that somehow didn't get checked off as purchased. It is kind of a let down knowing I just hit 1st tri and there is no point in snooping at it anymore, but my mom planned my shower for when my sister was here so I was only 26 weeks.
I had no shame stalking my registry. I know I'm not going to be able to resist, so why bother.
For my first (friends) shower I got a LOT of stuff off the registry. It helped that a lot of them are recent moms.
For my work shower there were only a few items off the registry, but some gift cards, too, which is always good. I think I'm down to only "needing" a couple of things. I'm going to hit up the garage sales this weekend.
I look at my registry daily. My shower is still 2 weeks away but so far the only things that were purchased I got at my work shower. I can't help but to peek. Lol

You can do that??? I need to figure out how to do that!!
I agree. Plus everyone in my family knows I peek, I don't hide it
Yep...I can't help myself and I'm not trying to quit.
