Pregnant after 35

Must remember to shave everyday...

Last night i was having very painful Braxton Hicks that I was getting a little freaked out. Of course I went to work this morning and called the Dr as soon as they opened as was told that if I had any more at all to go straight to L&D.....

My first thought was where the heck was I going to get a razor as I hadn't shaved down there for a couple of days. Pathetic i know. But note to self...shave every day just in case!

  • LOL.  That was on my "to do" list and never got done when I went into labor over a week early.  I shudder to think about how things looked down there!

  • How the heck do you shave without cutting yourself?! I gave up attemptimg anything other than a bikini trim over a month ago!
  • I meant to say also... I hope you don't have any more painful BH...
  • I was just thinking this!!!! LOL

  • That's so funny - I actually had JUST shaved when I had my last lo - who happened to come 3 1/2 weeks ahead of due date. I was so glad. All I could think of was my poor midwife thinking "whoa! Mama!"

  • You ladies are better than me.  I tried to groom down there last week.  You can't see a damn thing!  I'm not willing to cut myself.  The doctor is just going have to work around some hair.

  • Eh, I figure medical professionals have seen it all! Better to be too hairy than to be cut and bumpy!

  • I honestly don't know why I care so much this time... Last time they never blinked and I certainly wasnt shaved... I think it's the self conciousness oflast time when they shaved me to do the csect.... But I distinctly remember there being a razor in their little prep kit, so I think it's pretty common...

Still, I may have DH use the trimmers to trim the hedge a bit. He can see what he's doing, I can not.

  • haha i just thought about this yesterday....and shaved! And will continue to do so! I was doing it like once a week at most..but i really would like it cleaned up for labor :)
