Black & blue cohosh?

Has anyone tried this to induce labor? I'm contemplating!

    10 days before I had DS I was at the hospital after 15 hrs of contrax and once I got there it stalled...so my doula tried the black and blue  cohosh. It didnt work even while I was in prodromal labor, She said it really only works if you are ready.
