Thought this might be a good place to ask.
Has anyone heard of stories of getting positive (faintly) bfps at home,
and then getting a negative doctor office urine test the same day (3-4

Re: positive hpt, negative doctor test
Yes, especially 3-4 days before your expected period. Doctors' tests are less sensitive. Also, did you use FMU at home? It could have been more diluted in the afternoon.

Use the FRER, and if you get a line, pee on a digital.
I almost missed my line at first because it was so faint, but just happened to pick it up a few minutes later when I was done brushing my teeth to inspect it once more before I tossed it... the light hit it just right and I could see the faint line. Peed on a CBE later that day and "PREGNANT" popped up right away.
Of course I still felt the need to POAS every 3 days afterward until I got my desired two BRIGHT pink lines
I had the same question a few days ago. I had a faint positive Saturday, a less faint positive Sunday, went for a doctors urine test on Monday and it came back negative. I took another home test on Tuesday and it came back with the a darker line... took my blood test yesterday and am still waiting the results!
I would do another home test with FMU and get a blood test from the doctor just to confirm. Don't let it get you down... those doctors test seem like crap!
