how long are you staying in OC? I'm about a 3 hour drive from there - it's our main vacation spot usually (and where I met DH), especially for day trips! if you're wanting crabs, go to Hooper's before you get into Ocean City - they have the best!

    hey!  thanks for the tip.

    DH grew up going there as a baby.  his mom and grandfather live there.  we actually got married at the golden sands.  we never come in rte 50, though, so we'll have to give hoopers a try one of these days.  we usually get them at the crab bag and then bring them back to his mom's house.  i'm so excited!!

    ahhh I gotcha! yeah, if you don't go in through 50, it's kind of a pain to get to Hoopers. however, as long as they're MD Blue Crabs, it doesn't really matter where you get them from. ;) I spent every summer there as a kid and even lived up there with a bunch of friends for a summer once.. it was a blast.
