Do you think Rose is dated in the FN spot?

I love Rose as a first name with the NN Rosie. Is it too overdone or dated because it seems like everyone uses it in the MN spot. Thoughts?

I adore the name Rose and actually have rethought it alot about using it as DD first name instead of middle. I think its beautiful.

LOVE the name Rose! I think it's so simple and elegant. I wish my husband liked it or I would use it too! I think it's classic without being too overly popular like Emma.

It's a classic name in use for a long time. As long as you don't mind the "oh that's my daugther's middle name" comments, I say go for it!

I think it is dated but that is just me. For a middle name is it great but not a FN. If you are thinking that then maybe for you it is. Your ultimate decision is what counts.

I don't think it's too dated.............it is fairly popular in the UK - so it may become more popular in North America in the next few years (? as some names tend to).

I love it- I know a few little Rosies/Rosemarys/etc!! I think it's a classic name, too.
