Weight loss after delivery.

Hi ladies,

Just wondering how much weight came off during the first few weeks post delivery.

I'm on my 2nd pregnancy but do not remember at all how much I lost with my first baby after I delivered.

I gained 23 lbs. At 6 weeks post delivery, I have about 5 lbs to lose. I think I lost about 13 lbs the first week.

I lost 10lbs during pregnancy and lost 22 after delivery.

I gained over 50 lbs during pregnancy and lost a little over 30 by 6 weeks PP, still working on losing about 30 more!

I lost 30 by 3 weeks PP. That is pretty much where I got stuck and am now trying to lose more slowly, still have about 20 to go.

I gained 17 in pregnancy and lost 25 by the end of the 2nd week PP. That is where it has stopped.

I gained 15 lbs and am now down that plus another 10lbs. I doubt I will be that lucky next time. Good luck!

I gained about 45 lbs during my pregnancy. I am currently almost a month pp and I have lost about 35.

I gained 40lbs while pg, and it almost all came off immediately. I was 8lbs above my pre-pg weight at 1wk pp. Haven't weighed myself since then.

I gained 33 pounds during my pregnancy and have lost 20 of it at this point. The last 13 are going to take some work, unfortunately.

The scale and I haven't been on speaking terms in a while but I am sure I lost nothing other than the baby and I am 4 weeks PP. I am squarely stuck in snug maternity clothes and feel heavier than I did while pregnant. I am EPing as many times as DS feeds too, and even that hasn't helped.

I gained 55 pounds, and I had lost 23 by the end of the 2nd week. I still am only at 26 pounds lost, but I didn't start trying until a few days ago.

I gained about 30 and lost 25 in the first 2.5 weeks PP. I just started walking this week and will hopefully be cleared to resume normal activity on Friday.

I gained 36lbs during pregnancy, and had lost 30 by my 6 week PP check up. We don't keep a scale in the house, but I can wear all my prepregnancy jeans again, so I believe I've lost it all.

I gained 30 lbs. Upon arriving home from the hospital, 2 days pp, I was down only 7 lbs; My baby weighed 8 lbs. That was slightly disappointing. Now, 9 days pp, I am down 23 lbs. It's been cRaZy. I hope to be back to prepregnancy weight by 6 weeks pp.

I gained 29lbs and have lost 16 at 5 weeks post partum. It's not going as fast as I hoped. Still have 13 to go. I only lost 7 right after delivery!! It's starting to come off now but don't be discouraged if it doesn't immediately fall off like I was. I worked out my entire pregnancy and started back up a few weeks pp. every body is different. Mine is just taking more time.
