Mega fatigue around 3:00

I crash into a coma like sleep everyday around 3-4. I wake up disoriented and very groggy with my heart racing and hot as heck! What is up with this...I almost feel drunk with fatigue.

  • I need a nap everyday from 2:30-4pm. I always wake up feeling super cranky and groggy. I just think it is the baby taking up all of my energy.

  • Yup, that's my worst time too! Though I'm still at work, so I usually need to fight through. Bleh!

  • I pretty much feel this way everyday at 3:00 and it is a total and complete struggle for me to stay awake at work.  I only get a 30 min lunch break and on days that are not too hot I have been going out to my car and sleeping.  It helps a little but I totally understand what you mean!  I get home from work at 5:00 and either barely stay awake for dinner or eat dinner and crash and around 7:00 wake up with the racing heart like you...ugh.  Our bodies are so crazy!!!!

     I am home sick today, I took a 3 hour nap, woke up and I feel like my boobs hurt so much they are gonna fall off my chest.....but no heart pounding lol.

  • Yep...totally need a nap by 2 or 3. At least you're not the only one!  I'm hoping it eases up in the 2nd tri.

  • Yes, same here!  I have been taking late lunches lately so that I can nap in my car for an hour.  That helps, but I'm still super tired.

    Planning medicated cycle end of summer.  FX I get KU before then!!!
  • 3:00 is totally my crash time...unfortunately I have to work weekdays until 4:30 so I make a point to get all my important work done before lunch so I can do easy work in the afternoon.

  • How crazy! But on the other hand when I do get a chance to nap I wake up hot as well. Almost like when you have a crazy dream and if feels real and then you wake up lol! Good luck girl! Hopefully the second tri will be better for ya!

  • I have the hardest time staying awake from 2:30 to 4:00. Unfortunately, I am still at work so I have to deal with it. I have even tried sleeping through lunch to help but I am still so sleepy at 2:30.

    Agreed. I wish I could nap daily between 2 and 4. I had great plans to hit the gym after work today but going home and sleeping on the couch till DH gets home is sounding way better right now.
