My DD is not walking. Just like your LO's shes not standing unassisted for longer than like 10 seconds. She also hates to "finger" walk. Shes lazy and would much rather sit so she can crawl instead.
My guy has been standing unassisted but whenever he realizes he is doing it he will sit down. He can kinda do the finger walk but I have to lift the side of the leg he need to lift.
Varghese is a really good crawler so if I stand even a few steps away he will drop down and crawl to me.
My LO just started pulling herself up to standing about a week ago. She just learned to crawl 2 weeks ago. I am just getting used to this mobile baby, I am not ready for her to walk yet! :-)
My family is full of late walkers. Like, 17-18 months. I am ok with that.

My DS will be 1yo on Friday and is not walking if unassisted. He has taken two steps, but once he realizes he's on his own he drops to his knees to crawl. He will walk while assisted by someone or something and stand for long periods of time, but hasn't got up the courage to get going on his own.
I spend a lot of time on the June 2011 board and many of those babies aren't walking yet. Some of them are already over 13 months old and don't walk. Don't worry about it yet.
If you are super concerned about it, talk to your pediatrician. :-)
I don't think Google is the best place for you to get info, IMO. Scary stuff on Google. Go to the experts.
Ricky crawls on his belly still and has yet to get on all fours to crawl. He does pull up and stand and cruise like a champ as well as walking holding on to fingers. No unassisted standing, he just eats it when he gets too confident. We are almost there though! I'm not in any hurry though.

Dylan turned one on Sunday and he's not walking. He's crawling, cruising, standing by himself, walks holding onto one hand, and can take a step or two on his own. The timeframe for walking is 10-18 months. At 10 months you have nothing to worry about.
Just started pulling up to stand last Friday. No walking, no walking holding fingers, no cruising, and cannot stand unassisted. I can barely keep up with her speed crawling some days, so I am in no hurry for her to walk! She will be 1 on the 3rd.

Not walking but just started doing the "finger walk". He's been cruising since ~9 mo and we thought he'd easily be walking by now but I guess they go at their own pace. He'll be 1 yr on July 7th. He did take a few steps last week but hasn't shown any inclination to do so since then. Meh, it'll happen soon enough I guess.

No walking here, either. It's only been in the last few days that if I let go of him while he's standing, we get a few seconds of unassisted then he lowers himself to the ground. I think he's holding out on us.

I agree with that 100% on this. Google can be a great resource for somethings but other times there is just way too many scary things on Dr Google.
Truth. Dr. Google has convinced me that I have had more rare genetic malformations and deadly cancers than you can even imagine.

Once I googled my sister's symptoms, it came back with the plague. Tough thing to be diagnosed with black death.
DS crawls, stands holding onto furniture/toys, walks holding onto furniture, pushing the walker, and holding our hands (though on his tippy toes most of the time!) but doesn't walk unassisted or even stand for that matter. I'm in no rush!
Re: Anyone's LO NOT walking yet?
No walking, no standing unassisted. And she hates to do the "finger walk"
She will cruise holding onto furniture, and likes to crawl.

Andrew will be a year old on the 8th.
No walking, no standing unassisted (unless he's kinda leaning on the table), and he always tries to sit when I walk him with my hands.
He's ok with the walker we have, but thats really only when hes cued to do so.
I'm getting some big biceps lugging him around.
Dr. Google = Bad
Google search "When do babies start to walk?" = Accurate info for the first link.
