So, it is going to be that kind of day....

All DD wanted to do this morning was color in her Spider-Man coloring book with her new crayons.  So after wrestling with her to get socks and shoes on and carrying her to the car, and fighting with her to get buckled in the car seat, I was happy to drop her off at DC.

 Then as I walked from the parking lot into work I realized that I was wearing two very different shoes. (sigh.)  Once I got to my desk I sat down and saw that I have a big red crayon mark up the side of my pants. (bigger sigh.)  I sent DH a text to bring me new shoes, but he is asleep and I doubt I'll hear from him before lunch.  And since I'm the only actual staff member here today (with 3 interns and student worker) I can't just leave and drive all the way home to change my shoes.  Sad

How's everyone else's morning going?

    I hate those mornings.

    Ours was okay here.  Just a meltdown about the iPad.  Oh, and about my H daring to turn off the electric razor when he finished shaving.  B loves motors (it actually kind of worries me how much he loves them).

    ugh...I hate those days. I hope it gets better for you!

    Thankfully, my morning is running pretty smoothly. DD is sitting in her high chair, eating an english muffin for the 1st time...and she looks like she in enjoying it. I'm bumping and eating mine. :)

    And now DH isn't feeling well enough to drop off a matching shoe.   Now I have to drive home on my lunch hour, and since it can take up to 30 minutes to get home in heavy lunchtime traffic, I probably won't have time to actually eat anything decent.  Bah!  Pity party day for me.

    J is playing and I am so tired I keep dozing off ugh! I cannot sleep at night (I couldn't last pregnancy during the first tri either) so by 1030 I'm barely hanging on.  20 more minutes to his nap time! Lol

    Hope your day gets better! Ours is ok but it started at 5 and an A didn't go to sleep til 1030 last night (we are at my moms) so today is going to be interesting especially since his lower canines look like they are going to come through now any day (finally). He's okay now I'm dreading g as the day goes on and he gets tired since he isnt one of those fall asleep wherever kiddos.

    No! I demand you go buy new awesome shoes at a nearby store instead as a reward!  And then eat a nice greasy fast food lunch as another reward!

    Sad but true--I'd probably just wear the mismatched shoes for the rest of the day so I could enjoy my lunch break!  Hope your day gets better!

    oh boy! Hopefully you'll be able to look back on the day & laugh about it =)

    We had a morning like that yesterday. DS climbed up on the kitchen cart & knocked down the Brita pitcher onto the floor. Water everywhere! 

    Then he was just getting into everything he shouldn't have been, so I took him outside. He fell & hit his head on a concrete corner of the basement window frame - right on his eyebrow, so it is cut, bruised & swollen.

    Then he took a crappy 40 minute nap, so he woke up all cranky & I was still stressed out from everything before hand - 40 min was not a long enough time for me to calm down! haha

    I was counting down the minutes till my MIL got here to watch him for a few hours!

    I agree with Jilly, go buy your awl a new pair of shoes you deserve it after your morning :) I hope your day gets better!
