? about inductions
So with my first I went into labor on my own, I am being induced monday have GD but they want to induce with this one. I really have no progress, like a finger tip dilated and maybe 25% effaced, no change from last week. Had my stripping twice- so far nothing. Was stripped with DD and had her the next day. I know a lot can change in the next few days.
My biggest concern with the induction is increased risk of C- section. My doc isn't worried since I am a 2nd time mom etc. But basically just wondering if you were induced did you go vaginally.

I was induced with my first and everything went well. There isn't necessarily that big of an increased risk of c-section with induction because if you aren't going to dilate with drugs and help you probably wouldn't have done it on your own either.
You will do great!! I go in on Friday morning for induction with my second baby. I scheduled mine and I am 80% effaced and 2 cm dilated but I was none of that with my first baby and still had a smooth vaginal delivery!!
Just know you are a rockstar and can do this!!

I'm a second time mom. With my first, my water broke and then labor was augmented with pitocin. I delivered about 8 hours after starting the pit.
I was induced this time with very little cervical change going in. I had cervidil for a few hours and then pit was started and my water was broken. My son was born vaginally 4 hours later. It was a great experience.
